AppleWin v1.29.3.0

Apple II




AppleWin (également connu sous le nom de Apple //e Emulator for Windows) est un émulateur open source pour faire fonctionner les programmes Apple II+ ou Apple IIe, micros commercialisés pour la première fois en 1977 et conçus par Steve Jobs et Steve Wozniak.

La famille des Apple II (parfois orthographié Apple ][ ou Apple //) constitue la première série de micro-ordinateurs conçue par Apple vers la fin des années 1970 et au début des années 1980. Complètement différents des ordinateurs ultérieurs d'Apple que sont les Macintosh, l'Apple II avait une architecture principalement 8 bits. Ces ordinateurs ont des capacités graphiques limitées à 16 couleurs pour un affichage en 280*192.

La gamme fût déclinée en :
Apple II (1977), Apple II+ (1979), Apple IIe (1983), Apple IIc (1984), Apple IIe Enhanced (1984), Apple IIgs (1986) et Apple IIc (1988).

AppleWin était à l'origine écrit par Mike O'Brien en 1994; O'Brien lui-même a annoncé une première version de l'émulateur en avril 1995, juste avant la sortie de Windows 95. Le développement de AppleWin fut transmis à Oliver Schmidt et est maintenant mis à jour par Tom Charlesworth. AppleWin a initialement besoin au minimum d'un CPU Intel 486 et est écrit en C++.

Certainement le meilleur émulateur Apple II disponible !

SSF 0.12 Preview R9


Version Française


Ceci n'est pas une réelle release mais la dernière version preview de SSF, l'excellent émulateur SEGA Saturn pour Windows, traduite en français par Benjamin Siskoo de Tradu-France.
Attention, ce build pourrait donc être instable.

Nouvelle version de ce très bon émulateur Sega Saturn. Shima semble être de nouveau actif en proposant aussi une version Android de son émulateur. Les nouveautés étant en japonais, la traduction a été adaptée au mieux :

- Correction du processus de dessin de la surface de rotation.
- Correction du processus de mesh translucide pendant le rendu du GPU.
- Les contenus de données de la sauvegarde d'état ont été modifiés. Les anciennes sauvegardes ne sont plus fonctionnelles.
- Correction d'un bug sur l'information de l'index avec le CreateCDImage (Taito Chase H.Q et Purikura Daisaku et peut-être d'autres jeux).

Xpeccy 0.6 build 20191007

Sinclair ZX Spectrum




XPECCY est un excellent émulateur ZX Spectrum développé par le russe SAM style. Apparu en Novembre 2014, il bénéficie de mises à jour fréquentes.
Le voici en version 0.6 build 20191007 sous Windows, Linux (Debian et Fedora en 32 ou 64 bits) et MAC OS X.

bsnes v111.3


Nouvelle release pour Bsnes, émulateur SNES développé par Byuu, qui passe en version 0.111.3.

Au départ, Bsnes a été conçu pour émuler seulement la Super Nintendo. Le core de Bsnes fut ensuite inclus dans une nouvelle version de l'émulateur (Higan) qui se voulait dans un premier temps multi-plateformes Nintendo, avant d'élargir son champ d'action avec le support de la WonderSwan, la Master System, la Game Gear, la Megadrive, ainsi que la PC Engine et la SuperGrafx.

Depuis la version 0.107, Byuu a décidé d'isoler à nouveau le core de Bsnes tout en profitant des améliorations d'Higan, cette opération visant à le rendre plus performant et plus simple d'utilisation comparé à Higan.

Le programme émule également les extensions SNES suivantes :
_ Super Game Boy
_ BS-X Satellaview
_ Sufami Turbo

A noter que le développement d'Higan n'est pas stoppé pour autant, celui-ci devant nous arriver prochainement dans une toute nouvelle formule.

Caprice Forever v19.10


Lancé fin 2014 par Frédéric Coste, Caprice Forever, émulateur Amstrad CPC sous Windows, est une version modifiée de l'émulateur Caprice32. Il supporte les ordinateurs Amstrad CPC 464, 664 et 6128.
Le voilà qui débarque en version 19.10.

VBA-M 2.1.4


Nouvelle release pour VisualBoyAdvance-M, émulateur Game Boy Advance mais aussi Game Boy et Game Boy Color, qui nous arrive en version 2.1.4.
Pour rappel, VBA-M est un projet basé sur le code source de VBA qui a pour but d'améliorer celui-ci en intégrant les meilleures fonctionnalités de différents builds dérivés.

Yaba Sanshiro v2.8.1


Voici un nouveau build pour Yaba Sanshiro (anciennement uoYabause), émulateur Sega Saturn développé par Devmiyax, qui passe en version 2.8.1.

Rappelons que ce build (à l'origine un port non officiel de Yabause pour Android) est une version modifiée de Yabause qui améliore la compatibilité des jeux en mode OpenGL.

Il s'agit ici de la version proposée par Benjamin Siskoo de Tradu-France.

Devmiyax propose une nouvelle version de son très bon émulateur Saturn basé sur Yabause. Abandonnant totalement la version windows et se concentrant uniquement sur le port Android, grâce à l'architecture de Yabause, les modifications/améliorations sur les jeux sont répercutés normalement sur tous les ports. Devmiyax corrige sans s'occuper des régressions associées. Kronos est largement au dessus niveau émulation graphique.
Voici les nouveautés et celles que j'ai remarqué en faisant des tests :

- Correction de ralentissement introduit dans la version 2.7.5.
- Correction du mode vertical qui ne fonctionnait pas.
- Correction du jeu Sonic Jam : les arrière plans étaient cassés.
- Correction d'une boucle infinie du VDP1 pour le jeu Sonic Jam.
- Correction de la priorité du sprite du titre pour le jeu Dragon Ball Z.
- Correction d'un plantage sur la vidéo du jeu Sakura Taisen 2.
- Correction du démarrage avec le bios intégré pour le jeu DoDonPachi avec le dynarec.
- Correction du démarrage avec le bios intégré pour le jeu DoDonPachi.
- Modification du fonctionnement de l'annulation de l'interruption. Le menu de sauvegarde du jeu Soul Hack fonctionne maintenant.
- Correction des polygones qui forçaient à passer les ombres en 8bpp (256 couleurs) avec le mode Bank.
- Correction d'un plantage pendant la sauvegarde d'état.
- Correction des polygones qui ne dessinaient pas assez sur FIFA - Road To World Cup 98.
- Correction de la musique dans le jeu Afterburner et Virtua Cop.
- Mise à jour de la traduction française (Benjamin Siskoo).

ARCADE 0.214


ARCADE est une version dérivée de MAME pour Windows maintenue par Robbbert et basée sur le code source du défunt MAMEUIFX.

Ainsi que MAMEUIFX avant lui, ce build supporte seulement l'émulation arcade, MESS étant exclu du projet.
Les jeux "bonus" qui étaient présents dans MAMEUIFX ne sont par contre plus supportés par ARCADE, cependant vous pouvez les retrouver dans le build nommé HBMAME.

Tout comme MAME, le voici donc qui débarque en version 0.214.

HBMAME est une version non-officielle de MAME développée par Robbbert qui permet l'ajout de divers homebrews et hacks non supportés par MAME.

MESS/MESSUI 0.214


Compilé et maintenu par Robbbert, MESS est une version de MAME amputée de sa partie Arcade et supportant donc seulement l'émulation ordi/consoles.
Rappelons que depuis la version 0.193, vous n'avez plus besoin d'installer MAME avant de procéder à l'installation de MESS.

Tout comme MAME et MAMEUI, MESS nous arrive en version 0.214.

MAMEUI 0.214


MAMEUI [précédemment Mame32] est la version GUI de MAME, et c'est donc la version la plus utilisée.

Si l'on devait autrefois la version de MAMEUI64 à JohnIV, aujourd'hui les 2 builds 32 et 64 bits sont compilés et maintenus par Robbbert. Ils comprennent MAME dans son intégralité (y compris MESS) et sont disponibles sur le site de MESSUI.

Rendez-vous sur le site officiel de MAMEUI64 pour les packs de screenshots et d'icônes.

Tout comme MAME, le voici donc qui débarque en version 0.214.

Nouvelle release pour l'émulateur arcade par excellence, mais aussi ordi/consoles depuis qu'il a intégré MESS avec sa version 0.162.

A noter : Désormais compilé avec GCC 8.3.0, MAME perd la compatibilité avec Windows XP et nécessite donc au minimum Vista SP1 pour tourner. Si vous êtes sous XP, rabattez-vous vers les builds 32 bits compilés avec GCC 5.3.0 par Robbbert, tels que MameXP, MAMEUI 32 bits, ARCADE 32 bits ou encore HBMAME/HBMAMEUI 32 bits (tous disponibles dans notre section MAME).

This month, we’ve got support for five more Nintendo Game & Watch titles (Fire, Flagman, Helmet, Judge and Vermin), four Chinese computers from the 1980s, and three Motorola CPU evaluation kits. Cassette support has been added or fixed for a number of systems, the Dragon Speech Synthesis module has been emulated, and the Dragon Sound Extension module has been fixed. Acorn Archimedes video, sound and joystick support has been greatly improved.

On the arcade side, remaining issues in Capcom CPS-3 video emulation have been resolved and CD images have been upgraded to CHD version 5, Sega versus cabinet billboard support has been added to relevant games, and long-standing issues with music tempo in Data East games have been worked around.

My Nes 7.5.7202


Voici du nouveau pour My Nes, émulateur NES pour Windows (XP_SP3/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 en X86 et X64) et Linux, qui passe en version 7.5.7202.

L'émulateur supporte plus de 1000 roms. Le moteur du rendu vidéo utilise les librairies .Net (le .NET Framework 4 est requis), ce qui permet un affichage des couleurs réelles et avec la plus grande précision. Il est possible de modifier la palette de couleurs d'un jeu. De plus l'affichage peut être soit en 16 bits, soit en 32 bits.

Notes:
------
- Please note that the external sound channels of mappers (i.e. mapper 5) are disabled in this version.
- All sound filters are 100% accurate now, the filters alpha calculations are 100% accurate as well. Also, the new mixer is 100% accurate, even better than the default lookup table which described in the wiki, which is token from nes hardware circuit.
The point here that the mixer that built now in My Nes will make sure all channels outputs 100% presented without any loss, even the dmc channel now output 100% mixed with other channels.
In other words, with My Nes, you will be hearing the best (accurate and clear without loss) sound ever produced by a nes emulator so far. I mean this: My Nes emulates the real nes sound filter plus a perfect mixer which mix channels audio without loss.
- Note: the other sound effects you may hear in sound (i.e. aliasing in some cases) is caused by the sound renderer and sound buffer writing (loop buffers), not by the sound itself. Just saying, it is not 100% perfect as the real hardware,
but it is the best possible as an emu.
